Layering! The use of contrasting textures, and patterns creates a fun and bohemian look for winter. I really enjoy this trend, and this editorial from Vogue Nippon. It creates a fun outfit that can actually keep you warm while looking fashionable.

This is being seen all over...I'm still not sure how I feel about it. It can be too much on some people.
I am not sure I am all about the layering. On some people it is ok but on others its not flattering at all.
I love layering but not too much. I just don't want to look like a big polar bear with 2 shirts and 3 sweaters on. But layering can definately make a plain outfit stand out. Layering is great but when it isn't done over board.

Layering is a true art form not all can do it but when it is done well it shows.

This is definately one of the reasons why winter is my favorite season. It gives you so many options. I never have to wear the same outfit twice because there are so many different ways to incorporate an entire wardrobe.
oh kelly! these pictures are fabulous! and i am such a fan of layering! i think layering allows room for so much creativity. just from looking at these pictures, i want to STARE at the girls clothes. which is how it should be. each layer gives flavor to the outfit!
I agree with everyone else. I am totally a fan of layering, but really?? This is layering overkill.
