L.A.M.B Spring 2011

Because L.A.M.B deserves its own blog post!!

I wasn't exactly in love. But I really liked a lot of the pieces. I was REALLY surprised when they used African prints. And I like some of the ways they transformed them into something modern. I'm pretty sure the reason why I like this collection is because Gwen Stefani is just ah-mazing, and I could see her wearing pretty much everything in this collection!!

Other News:

  • Life is busy. Nothing new.  Creating tennis wear for my product development class. Menswear in my advanced design class. Learning about Mauritius for my fashion in global marketplace course. Doing an amazing internship for Herbal Animals. Yep, that's whats up! :) Oh, and I forgot to mention the fun events I'm planning and organizing for International Club and Fashion Club!!
  • Man, I'm meant to be a busy person, I really love it even though its extremely stressful. But I really miss blogging. It's really like a way to share my life with you guys. I will try to post once a week now, since my schedule has been quite the hectic one. :) I love blogging, and miss checking out my fellow bloggers out.
How are you guys?! I hope doing amazing! :)

Nice collection... I like it a lot.

However they are so many african designers doing the same modern designs with african prints and getting no recognition for it as they don't get the same publicity as her...

I felt the same way about the collection - I liked it but I didn't love it. Many of the individual pieces were fabulous though.

I agree, I'm not in love, but I am deep in like. I think there are plenty of people who could rock those pieces down the street and into whatever situation they want. I love the colors.
It sounds like you are so busy, but also that you are energized! Good luck with everything!

I like the shapes of this collection. I think they'd look good with or without the bold prints. Gwen really is multi-talented.

Like you, I love being busy, but I wish there was more time to do everything! I've been nonstop busy for the past few days and I've missed the interwebs quite a bit. Fun projects, good luck with them all!

I like the ruffly dress in the top photo, both for its bold print and 1980s prom dress lines (and I mean that in a good way!).
